Basic Moves and Special Moves are something all player characters can do.  Starting Moves are customized to each class.  Characters gain an alignment goal and starting racial move as part of their starting moves.  The rest are general and not dependent upon other elements in the playbook .  Each time an adventurer gains a new level, they can take an advanced move and apply that to their character's actions as well.
